'This morning I took out a comma and this afternoon I put it back again.' Oscar Wilde
Sunday 21st November 2010
So far November's been a very busy month for me! My back's still very sore and I've developed sciatica, but physio is helping and I'm doing my excercises regularly. My son and I celebrated his 21st birthday in Norway and were very lucky to see a beautiful display of the Northern Lights... what an awesome experience that was!
I've been busy drawing, but my writing is still on hold for now which is so frustrating as I really wanted to finish my second novel by the end of the year. Once again, life got in the way and my parents health is fast deteriorating. My favourite Aunt is in hospital with pneumonia and my cousin is suffering with cancer, so please spare a thought for my precious clan. Still haven't contacted any agents yet, but will definately do so before the year's out.
I have many places that I need to go to visit family and close friends, but unfortunately it'll have wait 'til in 2011. Fingers crossed I'll be going to Oz for my first time :) and back to America... to visit a state I've not been to before, so I look forward to that! My loyal American readers are wonderful and have been very inspirational by giving me good feedback and sending kind and encouraging emails... thank you all for being so patient and not losing faith in me whilst I go through some trying times! As for my readers in Europe, you've all been great and once I've found an agent to represent me, I hope to arrange some book-signing promotional events as requested... I haven't forgotten ;)
I shall continue to post news on here and also plan to update this site when I find time... some of my artwork will be added soon. Thanks for visiting again and thanks again to those who've commented on my site and sent messages, I really do appreciate your concern about my parents.
Síochán leat! - Peace be with you!
